iHobbyExpo 2008 - Public Show Information

The 23rd Annual iHobby Expo™, a trade and consumer show featuring over 5 football fields of fun in 200,000 square feet of exhibit space and with more than 300 exhibitors arrives October 18-21, 2007 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

The Show is open to the general public on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 only! There will be something for hobbyists of all ages who are looking for model railroad displays and exhibits, slot cars, remote control cars, trucks, motorcycles, planes, boats, model blimps, helicopters, rocketry, tanks and military, plus die-cast metal collectibles, wood and plastic model kits and much more.

The 2007 RC Universe World Micro Heli Cup will be even bigger and more exciting than last year's event. We expect all of the contestants from last year's event to return plus we will have new entrants, including big-name heli pilots. As usual, spectators can win incredible prizes, including advanced electric helicopter setups, RTF indoor helis, heli parts, shirts, hats and much more. Contestants will be competing for cash and prizes valued at more than $4,000. Contestants will be able to register at http://www.rcuniverse.com/heli. Don't miss it!

Kids & Families
For kids and families, there will be free “Make & Take” areas with model kits and instruction. Parents and their children work together to build and paint a model right at the show, and then take it home for FREE! Look for the following “Make & Take” areas to join the fun:

The “Passport Program” invites Boy & Girl Scouts in uniform from ages 6 to 17 who are accompanied by their troop leaders to enter the Show for FREE! Registration is at a special desk in the Main Lobby.
