Mecha-Mayhem 2009 is the third of an annually recurring international extravaganza of robot builders, electronics enthusiasts, and mainstream audiences enjoying the exciting pastime of
competitive robotics. With two of the highest-quality arenas in the country, top robotics competitors from around the world will face off at Mecha-Mayhem for glory, prizes, and
bragging rights as champions in weight classes ranging from 150 grams to 340 pounds.
Additionally, ChiBots, the Chicago Area Robotics Group will be running their annual Chibotica autonomous robotics problem-solving competition. At this annual event, dozens of the brightest amateur and pro robotics engineers will compete in autonomous robot challenges; escaping mazes, robot combat sumo, and other complex tasks, showing yet another dimension of this thrilling pursuit.
